UNTITLED. —- OR. —- RETITLED. THE TOP OF THE MOUNTAIN, THE OLD TALE AT NIGHT.

The ground rises up

getting closer

a bending Lotus Flame magnified-

crisp.

getting even closer

the refraction’s light shifts

becoming not quite right-

fuzzy,

hazy,

Out Of Focus As They Say.

….

Before i touch

i wake

in clear

A Full Lotus Flame

five Filaments of Hyphae below

“just a Dream”?….

was it murmured.

….

The voices of uncertain folk,

of thoughts of child,

old as well as young of mind,… concern, and guilt.

the murmurs come more frequent

the murmurs come far between

the murmurs never come at all.

Yet I hear the voices in the air.

whispers coming near,

Will they find me to divulge that weight

lighten their feet

of that weight.

it is not for me to tell,

the wind shall blow

as it shall lie

Not At All.

Inspired by lines from “Entitled” by Pseudonymous at https://consciousnesscreatesreality.wordpress.com/

Lines specifically used are: “was murmured” “five filaments of hyphae” “just a dream” “full lotus flame” “ground getting closer” “woke”. Full credit of quoted words or twisted tense of words goes to Pseudonymous.

Also inspired by a Chinese tale. A tree on top of a mountain, climb the mountain all day to tell your secrets and or guilt to the tree through the hole in the tree. If you have a concern, worry, or secret and hear this you will understand. If you don’t or are greedy and seedy (no pun intended there)  never mind for you will not understand and possibly do not have a conscious and or self conscious worry at the time you hear this.

Sincerely,

Sam Sutlive.
